The Better Canada Institute Presents: Better Canada Institute Awards 2021 #BCIA2021 

BCI is proud to present the first ever Better Canada Institute Awards. 

Efforts and successes in public policy often go unrecognized, and BCI wishes to acknowledge the people, institutions, and organizations that create effective and impactful policy for Canadians. 

Through these awards, our goal is to encourage increased conversation and attention around the  great public policy work and achievements made everyday by fellow Canadians.

The Awards

Achievement in Policy Collaboration

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) is looking to recognize a distinguished elected representative (from any level of government) who has demonstrated dedication, passion, and positive outcomes towards a public policy issue.

Outstanding Citizen Engagement

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) would like to recognize a citizen who has made a positive impact in public policy through grassroots organizing, civic participation, or through other citizen engagement mechanisms.

Emerging Policy Leader

 

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) is looking to recognize an exemplary student or recent graduate who has contributed to public policy studies and research, demonstrating excellence in 3 core areas.

Business Leader in Policy

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) is looking to recognize a for-profit Canadian business that is using their resources, products, services, and/or financial means to create positive impact through policy.

Non-profit Leader in Policy

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) is looking to recognize  a Canadian non-profit organization that has demonstrated dedication, passion, and positive outcomes towards a Canadian public policy issue.

Innovation in Policy

 

The Better Canada Institute (BCI) is looking to recognize  an impactful and innovative policy that any Canadian organization, institution, group etc. has developed and implemented.

Nomination Process

BCI will accept nominations for each category on a rolling basis until four weeks prior to the awards date.
